KADOMA – Nine months after donating stands, a promise is rising in brick and mortar.
Following the handover of 15 residential stands to vulnerable Zimbabweans on 27 November 2025, philanthropist Professor Kudakwashe Taruberekera, Founder and Chief Executive of Craft Properties Holdings, has confirmed that construction of the first homes is underway.
Prof. Taruberekera announced that by the end of August 2026, Craft Properties Holdings will hand over a fully completed, three-roomed, state-of-the-art house to one of the 15 beneficiaries. Construction of the remaining 14 homes will proceed in phases as resources permit.
The beneficiaries include 10 people with disabilities and 5 people living with albinism. Each received council-approved architectural plans at the November 2025 ceremony in Kadoma.
